Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – FinServ Security to join our growing technology team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our financial services platforms. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, helping to design and maintain highly available systems that support mission-critical financial operations.

As an SRE, you will play a key role in building resilient cloud-native systems, automating operational tasks, improving system observability, and embedding security best practices into every layer of the technology stack. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for financial services platforms.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management systems to ensure high availability and fast recovery.

• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to reduce manual operations and improve system reliability.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines with strong security controls.

• Conduct root cause analysis for system outages and performance issues, and implement preventive measures.

• Ensure compliance with financial industry standards and security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).

• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on cost optimization and performance.

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for critical systems.

• Continuously improve system resilience through chaos engineering and disaster recovery testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and system administration.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, or Bash).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and system architecture.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog).

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related roles.

• Prior experience working in financial services, banking, fintech, or highly regulated environments is highly preferred.

• Experience managing high-availability systems with strict uptime requirements (99.9%+).

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with availability for on-call rotations and incident response.
