Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and visionary DevOps Lead – AgriTech Data Pipelines to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure that powers next-generation agricultural technology platforms. In this leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end DevOps lifecycle for data-driven systems that enable smart farming, real-time crop insights, and sustainable agricultural operations. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, product managers, and software development teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance deployment of data pipelines and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for AgriTech data platforms.

• Architect and manage cloud-based infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and analytics.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data pipelines and applications.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize ETL/ELT workflows.

• Implement DevSecOps best practices, including security scanning and compliance controls.

• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Manage release cycles and coordinate deployments across multiple environments.

• Document processes, standards, and system architectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and data pipeline architectures.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Experience

• 7+ years of overall experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a leadership or senior technical role.

• Proven experience managing large-scale data systems or analytics platforms.

• Prior exposure to AgriTech, IoT, or data-intensive environments is a strong plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for global collaboration.

• Remote or hybrid working options available depending on location.
