Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer – Distributed Systems Management to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure across complex distributed environments. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging development and operations teams, ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines, system resilience, and operational excellence across global platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems.

• Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using advanced observability tools.

• Troubleshoot complex system issues across cloud and on-prem environments.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance and scalability.

• Implement security best practices and compliance standards across infrastructure.

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to technical strategy and roadmap.

• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).

• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

• Proven experience managing large-scale distributed systems in production environments.

• Prior experience in senior or lead-level technical roles is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with overlapping time zones for global collaboration.
