Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and visionary DevOps Lead – Remote Collaboration Tools to drive the reliability, scalability, and security of our global digital collaboration platforms. This role is critical in enabling seamless remote work experiences for thousands of users across multiple geographies. The DevOps Lead will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, designing modern cloud-native infrastructures, and implementing best-in-class DevOps practices to support tools such as video conferencing platforms, enterprise chat systems, document collaboration suites, and workflow automation systems.
As a strategic leader, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and IT Operations teams to ensure continuous delivery, high availability, and optimal performance of collaboration services that are essential to business productivity.
Lead the DevOps function for enterprise remote collaboration platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for collaboration tool services and integrations.
Architect cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Drive automation across deployment, testing, provisioning, and operational workflows.
Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical production issues.
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Work with vendors and third-party providers to optimize performance and cost.
Establish SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for collaboration systems.
Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies and cloud-native architecture.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible).
Solid understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).
Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and identity management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
8+ years of experience in IT, Cloud, or DevOps roles.
3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or DevOps Lead role.
Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale collaboration or SaaS platforms.
Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.
Full-time role with flexible working hours.
Primarily remote, with overlap required for global teams across multiple time zones.
Occasional on-call support for critical production incidents.
Deep understanding of distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
