Global MNC Tech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer – Bitbucket Pipelines & Git to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and modern software development practices. You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and senior DevOps professionals to support, maintain, and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable application delivery across multiple environments.
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-world DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and best practices while contributing to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
Manage and maintain Git repositories, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
Support build, test, and deployment automation for web and cloud-based applications.
Monitor pipeline executions and troubleshoot build and deployment failures.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows and reduce manual processes.
Maintain documentation for pipelines, scripts, and DevOps processes.
Assist in environment configuration and basic infrastructure automation tasks.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for deployment-related issues.
Follow DevOps best practices for security, reliability, and performance.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Git and version control concepts.
Familiarity with Bitbucket Pipelines or other CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Awareness of containerization tools like Docker (nice to have).
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
0–2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering roles.
Fresh graduates with strong practical knowledge, internships, or project experience in DevOps are encouraged to apply.
Full-time role: 40 hours per week.
Standard business hours with flexibility depending on project needs.
Occasional on-call or extended hours during critical releases or incidents.
Understanding of CI/CD principles and automation concepts.
