Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer – Bitbucket Pipelines & Git to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and modern software development practices. You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and senior DevOps professionals to support, maintain, and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable application delivery across multiple environments.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-world DevOps tools, cloud platforms, and best practices while contributing to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Manage and maintain Git repositories, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Support build, test, and deployment automation for web and cloud-based applications.

• Monitor pipeline executions and troubleshoot build and deployment failures.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows and reduce manual processes.

• Maintain documentation for pipelines, scripts, and DevOps processes.

• Assist in environment configuration and basic infrastructure automation tasks.

• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for deployment-related issues.

• Follow DevOps best practices for security, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Git and version control concepts.

• Familiarity with Bitbucket Pipelines or other CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

• Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Awareness of containerization tools like Docker (nice to have).

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering roles.

• Fresh graduates with strong practical knowledge, internships, or project experience in DevOps are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Full-time role: 40 hours per week.

• Standard business hours with flexibility depending on project needs.

• Occasional on-call or extended hours during critical releases or incidents.
