Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer – Public Sector Digitalization to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and on-premise infrastructures that support digital transformation initiatives across public sector organizations. You will play a key role in modernizing legacy systems, automating deployment pipelines, and enabling continuous delivery of critical government and civic digital services.
This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving system reliability, security, and performance in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment for public sector applications.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless application delivery and system stability.
Maintain and optimize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security using observability and logging tools.
Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure compliance with government and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
Support digital modernization projects by migrating legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies are in place.
Document processes, architectures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Strong hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Prior experience working on large-scale digital transformation or public sector projects is a strong advantage.
Experience in handling mission-critical systems with high availability requirements.
Full-time position.
Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Flexibility may be required to support critical deployments or incident resolution outside regular business hours.
