Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Low Latency Trading Systems to lead the design, reliability, and performance of mission-critical trading platforms. This role is at the heart of our high-frequency and algorithmic trading infrastructure, where microseconds matter and system resilience is non-negotiable.
As a Lead SRE, you will own the end-to-end reliability strategy for low-latency systems, ensuring maximum uptime, ultra-fast response times, and seamless scalability. You will work closely with trading, quant, and engineering teams to optimize infrastructure, reduce risk, and drive automation across complex distributed environments.
Lead the reliability engineering strategy for low-latency trading platforms and market data systems.
Design, build, and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant, and performance-optimized infrastructure.
Monitor system health, latency, throughput, and error budgets using advanced observability tools.
Implement automated incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
Partner with developers and quants to improve system performance and optimize execution pipelines.
Drive capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Develop and enforce SRE best practices, SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Mentor and lead a team of SRE and platform engineers.
Reduce operational toil through automation and self-healing systems.
Participate in high-impact production deployments and change management.
Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and low-level performance tuning.
Expertise in distributed systems and real-time, low-latency architectures.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or on-prem high-performance systems.
Hands-on expertise with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, multicast, FIX protocol, and market data feeds.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering roles.
3+ years in leadership or technical lead positions.
Proven experience supporting financial trading systems, HFT platforms, or real-time data systems.
Experience working in high-availability, low-latency, mission-critical environments.
