This role will play a critical part in modernizing our middleware and integration landscape by aligning DevOps practices with enterprise service bus technologies, ensuring seamless system interoperability, automation, and continuous delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in DevOps architecture, integration frameworks, and ESB platforms, with a strong ability to bridge the gap between development, operations, and enterprise architecture teams. You will be responsible for defining the DevOps strategy for ESB solutions, driving cloud adoption, and enabling reliable, automated, and resilient service orchestration across complex distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect end-to-end DevOps solutions for Enterprise Service Bus and integration platforms.

  • Lead automation initiatives for build, test, deployment, monitoring, and scaling of ESB environments.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, application teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless system integration.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for middleware and integration layers.

  • Establish best practices for version control, release management, and configuration management.

  • Drive containerization and cloud-native adoption for integration services.

  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of ESB platforms.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

  • Mentor and guide DevOps and integration teams on modern DevOps practices and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in DevOps architecture and enterprise integration platforms.

  • Hands-on expertise with ESB technologies such as MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, Apache Camel, WSO2, or similar.

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy).

  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

  • Experience with API management, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system design principles.

Experience

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience in DevOps, middleware, or enterprise integration roles.

  • At least 4+ years in a senior or architect-level position.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise integration and DevOps transformation projects.

  • Experience working in complex, multi-system enterprise environments.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with the ability to collaborate across global teams.

  • May require occasional on-call support for critical deployments and production incidents.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to design scalable and resilient architectures.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

  • Ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments.

  • Strategic mindset with hands-on technical expertise.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.

  • Comprehensive health and insurance coverage.

  • Flexible work arrangements (hybrid/remote options).

  • Learning and development programs with certification support.

  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and enterprise-scale projects.
