Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with expertise in container orchestration to join our dynamic infrastructure team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm).

• Automate deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tools and frameworks.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into containerized environments.

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement highly available, fault-tolerant solutions.

• Manage multi-cloud or hybrid cloud container infrastructures, ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Develop and maintain platform documentation, standards, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions in alignment with business SLAs.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve container orchestration and platform efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud solutions.

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in containerized environments.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps roles.

• Proven track record of managing production-grade container orchestration environments.

• Experience in multi-team collaboration and working in Agile or DevOps-driven organizations.

Working Hours

• Full-time position; standard working hours with flexibility for global team collaboration.

• Occasional on-call support may be required for critical production issues.
