Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Specialist with a strong background in pharmaceutical technology and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bridge development, operations, and compliance teams to ensure the seamless delivery of software solutions that adhere to stringent pharmaceutical industry standards. This role is pivotal in supporting automated deployment pipelines, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the DevOps lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines that comply with pharmaceutical regulations (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11).

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and compliance teams to integrate automated testing, monitoring, and deployment processes.

  • Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed for scalable, repeatable, and auditable deployments.

  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or compliance deviations.

  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD systems, configuration management, and release management processes.

  • Participate in compliance audits, documenting DevOps practices and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently while maintaining high service uptime.

  • Recommend and implement improvements for security, automation, and operational efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters preferred.

  • Strong expertise in DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.

  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulations (GxP, FDA, ISO, EU Annex 11) and their implications for software development and deployment.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.


Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience, with at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.

  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end DevOps pipelines in highly regulated sectors.

  • Experience in automation, compliance documentation, and audit readiness is highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • Standard working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

  • On-call availability may be required for production support or urgent compliance issues.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks for Pharma Tech.

  • Ability to design automated, compliant, and auditable DevOps pipelines.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments.
