Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Support Specialist to join our DevOps Service Desk team. The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for cloud infrastructure support, ensuring seamless operations, quick incident resolution, and proactive maintenance. This role requires technical expertise in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and IT service management, combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-line support for cloud infrastructure and DevOps services, including troubleshooting, incident management, and request fulfillment.

  • Monitor cloud systems, identify potential issues, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and automation tools.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and standard operating procedures.

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud security policies and compliance standards.

  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 service availability for critical systems.

  • Proactively suggest improvements to cloud infrastructure, processes, and automation strategies.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and cloud service providers as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and associated services.

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

  • Solid knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL, incident, and change management).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud and application environments.

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.


Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in cloud support, IT operations, or DevOps-focused service desk roles.

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud deployments is highly desirable.

  • Prior exposure to automated deployment pipelines and cloud orchestration is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time role with flexible working hours.

  • Participation in on-call rotations for critical system support may be required.

  • Remote work or hybrid options may be available depending on business needs.
