Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and visionary Cloud Infrastructure Lead – Scalable Web Apps to drive the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of our cloud platforms that support high-traffic, business-critical web applications. This role is pivotal in shaping our cloud strategy, ensuring reliability, performance, security, and scalability across global systems.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Lead, you will act as both a technical authority and a people leader, working closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, product managers, and security stakeholders. You will be responsible for architecting cloud-native solutions, leading infrastructure modernization initiatives, and enabling engineering teams to deliver resilient and highly available applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure for large-scale web applications.

• Define and implement cloud strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.

• Oversee infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and incident response.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity across cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with application teams to optimize system performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.

• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems.

• Implement cloud governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks.

• Mentor and guide cloud engineers and DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies, tools, and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures (microservices, containers, serverless).

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Pulumi).

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS).

• Solid knowledge of networking concepts (VPC/VNet, load balancing, DNS, firewalls).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.

• At least 3–4 years in a technical leadership or senior architect position.

• Proven experience managing large-scale, high-availability cloud systems.

• Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.

• Exposure to global enterprise systems and high-traffic web applications is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time role, 40 hours per week.

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for global collaboration.

• Occasional on-call support for critical production systems.

• Hybrid or remote work options depending on project needs and location.
