Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled DevOps Engineer – Drone Tech & Robotics to join our advanced engineering team. This role is critical in supporting the development, deployment, and continuous operation of cutting-edge drone and robotic systems used across industries such as logistics, defense, agriculture, smart cities, and autonomous mobility.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will act as a bridge between software engineering, hardware teams, and operations, ensuring that our robotic platforms are built, tested, deployed, and monitored with high reliability, security, and scalability. You will play a key role in automating workflows, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and enabling real-time data processing environments that power next-generation autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for drone and robotics software platforms.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Collaborate with robotics engineers, AI teams, and embedded systems teams to streamline development workflows.

• Manage containerized applications and microservices used in autonomous systems.

• Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability of robotic platforms in real-time environments.

• Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, compliance, and secure deployments.

• Support edge computing environments for drones and robotics systems.

• Troubleshoot deployment issues across cloud, on-premise, and edge infrastructures.

• Optimize system performance for real-time data ingestion, telemetry, and sensor data.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and system resilience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

• Knowledge of Linux systems administration.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.

• Understanding of networking, security protocols, and system monitoring tools.

• Exposure to robotics frameworks (ROS/ROS2) is a strong advantage.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role.

• Experience working in high-tech environments such as robotics, IoT, AI, or autonomous systems preferred.

• Proven experience in building and managing scalable deployment pipelines.

• Experience supporting real-time or mission-critical systems is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with overlap for global teams.
