Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer – Python & Shell Automation to join our growing technology operations team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about automation, system reliability, and modern DevOps practices. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers, software developers, and cloud teams to support, automate, and optimize infrastructure and deployment pipelines across multiple environments.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in scripting, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation while contributing to real-world projects that support high-availability enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and Shell (Bash).

• Support CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment processes.

• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to ensure platform stability.

• Help manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments.

• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities.

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.

• Maintain documentation for automation workflows and system configurations.

• Perform routine system administration tasks and basic server maintenance.

• Support configuration management and version control practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python and Shell scripting.

• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).

• Understanding of DevOps concepts and SDLC.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, software support, or a related role.

• Fresh graduates with strong scripting and Linux knowledge are encouraged to apply.

• Internship or academic project experience in automation or cloud technologies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

• Standard business hours with flexibility depending on project requirements.

• Occasional on-call or extended hours during deployments or incidents.
