Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer – Automotive Embedded Systems to join our advanced engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps pipelines that support the development, testing, and deployment of embedded software for next-generation automotive systems. You will work closely with software engineers, system architects, and quality assurance teams to ensure high reliability, scalability, and security across the entire software lifecycle.

This position plays a critical role in accelerating innovation in areas such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), infotainment, connected vehicles, and autonomous driving platforms by enabling seamless integration between embedded development and modern cloud-native DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automotive embedded software projects.

• Automate build, test, integration, and deployment processes for embedded Linux and RTOS-based systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between hardware, firmware, and application layers.

• Manage version control systems and branching strategies for large-scale embedded projects.

• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability of DevOps infrastructure.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage environments across development, testing, and production.

• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and functional safety requirements.

• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and resolve build and deployment issues.

• Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps).

• Continuously improve automation frameworks and toolchains to enhance productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.

• Hands-on experience with embedded systems development (Embedded Linux, RTOS).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with version control systems like Git and code review processes.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Understanding of networking concepts and system integration.

• Experience with build systems like Yocto, Buildroot, or CMake.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, embedded systems, or automotive software development.

• Prior experience working in automotive or industrial embedded environments is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
