Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DevOps Specialist – HealthTech Data Privacy to join our growing technology team. This role is critical in building, securing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure that supports healthcare platforms handling sensitive patient data.

As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and operating secure, scalable, and compliant systems, ensuring that data pipelines, applications, and infrastructure meet strict regulatory and privacy standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare compliance frameworks. You will work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to embed privacy and security into every stage of the DevOps lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for HealthTech applications.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a strong focus on security and compliance.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

  • Ensure data privacy and protection across environments, including encryption, access control, and audit logging.

  • Collaborate with security teams to perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk mitigation.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using observability tools.

  • Automate compliance checks and security controls across the DevOps lifecycle.

  • Support incident response and root cause analysis for security or system issues.

  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, security controls, and compliance processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in DevOps engineering within cloud-based environments.

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Solid understanding of security best practices, including IAM, network security, and secrets management.

  • Knowledge of data encryption standards and secure data storage practices.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2).

  • Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

  • At least 2 years of experience working in healthcare, fintech, or other highly regulated domains is preferred.

  • Proven experience in managing secure cloud platforms and sensitive data systems.


Working Hours

  • Full-time role (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with core collaboration time aligned to global teams.

  • Remote or hybrid work model, depending on location and project requirements.

  • In-depth understanding of DevSecOps practices.

  • Ability to integrate security and privacy into development workflows.

  • Strong knowledge of networking, system architecture, and distributed systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
