Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Security Analyst – Vulnerability Management to join our growing cybersecurity and cloud operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across our cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructures. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and application teams to embed security into every stage of the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that our systems remain resilient, compliant, and secure against emerging threats.

This position plays a critical role in strengthening our security posture by driving proactive vulnerability assessment, risk management, and continuous security improvements in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform continuous vulnerability scanning and assessments across infrastructure, applications, containers, and cloud environments.

  • Analyze vulnerability reports and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, severity, and business impact.

  • Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated security testing and monitoring.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for security issues and recommend preventive controls.

  • Monitor threat intelligence feeds and stay updated with the latest security threats and trends.

  • Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and penetration testing activities.

  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management processes, policies, and documentation.

  • Provide security awareness and guidance to technical teams across the organization.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles.

  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

  • Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Understanding of web application security (OWASP Top 10).

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.


Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or security engineering roles.

  • Proven experience in vulnerability assessment, remediation, and security monitoring.

  • Experience working in agile or DevOps environments.

  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS, or GDPR is an advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with core overlap based on project requirements.
