Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Azure Cloud Architect – DevOps Governance to lead the design, implementation, and governance of cloud-native and hybrid solutions across our enterprise platforms. This role is critical in defining cloud architecture standards, DevOps frameworks, and security governance models that enable scalable, reliable, and compliant digital transformation.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between engineering, security, and business teams, ensuring that Azure cloud environments are built following best practices in automation, cost optimization, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise-level Azure cloud architecture aligned with business and IT strategy.

• Define and enforce DevOps governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.

• Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Lead the adoption of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Implement cloud security governance, identity management, and compliance controls.

• Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams to ensure high availability and resilience.

• Drive cloud cost management, optimization, and FinOps strategies.

• Perform architectural reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise cloud policies.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cloud and DevOps teams.

• Evaluate new Azure services and recommend innovative solutions for business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and cloud governance models.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).

• Experience with container platforms (AKS, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, and identity (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault).

• Experience in monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale cloud governance initiatives.

• Experience working in large, complex, multi-team environments.

Working Hours

• Full-time role (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with overlapping availability for global teams.
