Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Build and Release Engineer – Jenkins Specialist to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that support the development and deployment of enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, and quality assurance professionals to ensure smooth, automated, and reliable build and release processes across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.

• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure faster and more reliable releases.

• Integrate Jenkins with source control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) and artifact repositories.

• Manage and optimize build infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.

• Implement best practices for versioning, branching strategies, and release management.

• Monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and security.

• Document build and release processes and provide technical guidance to teams.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with Jenkins (pipeline as code, scripted and declarative pipelines).

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Groovy.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.

• Good knowledge of Git-based version control systems.

• Experience with Docker and containerized builds.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Understanding of build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant, or NPM.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Build and Release Engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD roles.

• Proven experience managing enterprise-level Jenkins environments.

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven organizations.

• Prior exposure to large-scale software deployment projects is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
