Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining the health, reliability, and scalability of our systems while ensuring a seamless user experience for our global customer base. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and improve system health, availability, and performance across multiple services.

• Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.

• Assist in incident management and troubleshooting production issues to ensure minimal downtime.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and observability.

• Analyze system metrics and logs to proactively identify potential bottlenecks and risks.

• Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery exercises.

• Document operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for team and company-wide use.

• Participate in on-call rotations to support global operations and incident response.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command-line operations.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and alerting systems.

• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or SRE roles.

• Internship or academic projects in cloud infrastructure, automation, or system monitoring are a plus.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) is desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time role, 40 hours per week.

• Flexible working hours with hybrid options depending on team and project requirements.

• Participation in on-call rotations for global operations support.
