Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled Platform Support Engineer – L3 Cloud Ops to join our dynamic Cloud Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and enterprise platforms. You will act as a critical escalation point for complex technical issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to maintain high service availability. Provide Level 3 support for cloud-based platforms, handling complex incidents and service requests across multiple environments.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to recurring issues to improve system stability.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, and reporting frameworks for all critical cloud infrastructure.
Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely response and resolution of critical production incidents.
Assist with capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive risk mitigation for cloud platforms.
Support platform upgrades, patch management, and deployment of new services.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server environments.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient in networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Expertise in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud platform operations, IT infrastructure, or enterprise support.
Proven experience providing L3 support in large-scale cloud environments.
Experience working in global, 24x7 operations or multi-regional environments is highly desirable.
Standard working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible schedule available).
Participation in on-call rotation for critical incident support.
