Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in serverless architecture, particularly AWS Lambda, to join our dynamic cloud engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available serverless solutions that support our mission-critical applications. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep knowledge of AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud-native best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for serverless applications, ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Serverless Framework.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of serverless applications.

• Monitor and troubleshoot serverless applications, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.

• Enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards.

• Participate in architecture reviews, providing recommendations for improving efficiency, cost optimization, and resiliency.

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in AWS Lambda and other serverless AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions).

• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or CircleCI.

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework).

• Solid programming/scripting skills in Python, Node.js, or Go.

• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns, microservices, and event-driven design.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong understanding of security and compliance standards in cloud environments.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with serverless architecture in production environments.

• Proven track record of deploying and managing serverless applications at scale.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, standard business hours with flexibility to support global teams across multiple time zones.

• Occasional on-call duties for critical production support may be required.
