Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer (GCP) – Data Engineering Support to join our growing technology team. This role is critical in supporting large-scale data platforms and cloud-native infrastructure that power enterprise analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven solutions.
As part of our cloud engineering function, you will be responsible for building, automating, monitoring, and optimizing data pipelines and cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with data engineers, architects, and product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data operations across multiple business units.

Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP to support data engineering workloads.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Support and optimize data pipelines using services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer (Airflow).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud applications.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools like Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring and Logging).
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
Collaborate with data engineers to troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues.
Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and governance.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
Experience working with data engineering tools and platforms (BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow, Spark).
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
2 to 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Prior experience supporting data platforms or analytics systems is highly preferred.
Experience working in large enterprise or global delivery environments is a plus.
GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are desirable.
Full-time role (40 hours per week).
