Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer – EdTech Platform Reliability to join our growing technology team. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, scalability, security, and performance of our cloud-based EdTech platforms used by millions of learners and educators worldwide.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work at the intersection of software development, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud-native infrastructure, and implementing best practices for monitoring, observability, and incident management. Your work will directly contribute to delivering a seamless digital learning experience at scale.
Design, implement, and maintain highly available and reliable cloud infrastructure for EdTech platforms.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, integration, and deployment.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using modern observability tools.
Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks, outages, and performance issues.
Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment strategies and system resilience.
Implement security best practices including access controls, secrets management, and compliance.
Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent platforms.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure platform uptime.
Continuously improve operational processes and DevOps standards across teams.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role.
Experience working in high-availability production environments.
Prior exposure to SaaS or EdTech platforms is a strong advantage.
Experience in Agile/DevOps environments with cross-functional teams.
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Flexible working hours with overlapping availability for global teams.

On-call support rotation may be required.
