Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security DevOps (DevSecOps) Engineer – Cyber Defense to join our global technology and security operations team. This role is pivotal in embedding security into every stage of the software development lifecycle while enabling rapid, secure, and scalable delivery of digital products and platforms.

As a DevSecOps professional, you will act as the bridge between development, operations, and cybersecurity teams, ensuring that security is not an afterthought but a core component of our engineering culture. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated security controls, monitoring systems, and compliance frameworks that protect critical infrastructure, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Design and implement security automation for vulnerability scanning, code analysis, container security, and infrastructure security.

• Monitor systems for security threats and incidents, responding proactively to vulnerabilities and breaches.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enforce secure coding and infrastructure best practices.

• Implement and manage cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews.

• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS, etc.).

• Lead incident response activities and post-incident analysis to strengthen cyber defense posture.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security requirements.

• Continuously improve security tooling, monitoring, and automation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of DevOps and cybersecurity principles.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

• Hands-on experience with security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, SIEM, SOAR).

• Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices.

• Familiarity with container and orchestration security (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing concepts.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).

• Understanding of networking, encryption, IAM, and access control models.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Cybersecurity roles.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a DevSecOps or security engineering role.

• Experience working in enterprise or large-scale distributed environments.

• Prior experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, telecom, or SaaS) is a plus.
