Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly experienced and innovative DevOps Automation Lead – Product Engineering to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end automation strategies across our product engineering ecosystem. This role is pivotal in enabling faster, more reliable, and scalable software delivery by embedding DevOps best practices, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines into our core engineering processes.
As a DevOps Automation Lead, you will act as a technical leader and strategic partner to engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams. You will define automation standards, champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensure seamless integration between development and operations. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for building resilient, cloud-native systems at scale.
Lead the DevOps automation strategy across product engineering teams.
Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and configuration management processes.
Collaborate with software architects and developers to integrate DevOps practices early in the SDLC.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of production systems.
Establish DevOps best practices, coding standards, and automation frameworks.
Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and automation specialists.
Drive adoption of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Implement security and compliance controls within automation pipelines (DevSecOps).
Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve delivery efficiency.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy).
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack).
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog).
Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure pipeline practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Automation roles.
At least 2–3 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
Proven experience working in large-scale, distributed, and cloud-based environments.
Experience supporting product engineering or SaaS platforms is highly desirable.
Full-time role, typically 40 hours per week.
Flexible working hours with overlap for global team collaboration.
May require occasional on-call support for critical production systems.
