Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kubernetes Operations Specialist – Microservices to join our growing Cloud and Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, reliability, performance, and scalability of our Kubernetes-based microservices platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring high availability of containerized applications, supporting development teams, and continuously improving our cloud-native infrastructure.
This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and building resilient systems at scale in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
Manage, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments (development, staging, and production).
Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity to ensure high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications, networking, storage, and cluster resources.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to support microservices architecture and deployment strategies.
Automate operational tasks using scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Implement security best practices for Kubernetes, including RBAC, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.
Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with minimal downtime.
Document operational procedures, runbooks, and best practices.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem clusters).
Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and container runtimes.
Experience with microservices-based architectures.
Proficiency in Linux system administration.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
At least 2 years of practical experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience working in enterprise or large-scale distributed systems is preferred.
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Flexible working hours with overlap across global teams.
On-call support may be required on a rotational basis.

Ability to analyze system performance and optimize resource utilization.
