Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly experienced and visionary DevOps Architect – Hybrid Cloud Modernization to lead the design, transformation, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud and DevOps ecosystems. This strategic role is ideal for a senior technology professional who thrives at the intersection of architecture, automation, and business transformation.

As a DevOps Architect, you will play a critical role in modernizing legacy infrastructures into scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid cloud platforms. You will partner closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to define DevOps strategies, establish best practices, and drive continuous delivery and operational excellence across global platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise-level DevOps architecture for hybrid cloud environments (on-premise + public cloud).

• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated deployment strategies.

• Drive cloud modernization initiatives including migration, containerization, and microservices adoption.

• Establish DevOps governance, standards, and best practices across teams.

• Architect scalable and highly available systems using cloud-native services.

• Collaborate with security teams to embed DevSecOps practices.

• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on DevOps tools and frameworks.

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• Ensure high system availability, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in DevOps architecture and hybrid cloud platforms.

• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.).

• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system design principles.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Experience

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in a DevOps or Cloud Architecture role.

• Proven experience in leading large-scale cloud transformation or modernization programs.

• Prior experience working in enterprise or multinational environments is highly preferred.

• Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, telecom, fintech) is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.

• Flexible working hours with hybrid/remote options depending on project needs.

• May require occasional collaboration with global teams across different time zones.
