Job Summary:

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Associate to join our dynamic IT operations team. The ideal candidate will assist in building, maintaining, and automating CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and infrastructure management. The Junior DevOps Associate will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and senior DevOps professionals to ensure the efficient, reliable, and secure delivery of applications across multiple environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.

  • Support automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, or Terraform.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the development, staging, and production environments.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth code integration and deployment.

  • Implement and maintain version control strategies and branching workflows.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize DevOps processes.

  • Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps principles.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.


Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related IT roles.

  • Internship or project experience involving CI/CD, cloud services, or automation is highly desirable.


Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexibility for occasional on-call support or project deadlines may be required.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and deployment processes.
