Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer with a strong Azure focus to join our Global Delivery Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud platforms and infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-level applications. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure robust, secure, and efficient cloud environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.

• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and IT teams to implement scalable and reliable platform solutions.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Ensure the security, performance, and availability of cloud-based systems through best practices in monitoring, patching, and configuration management.

• Participate in architecture reviews, capacity planning, and optimization of cloud resources.

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.

• Document technical designs, processes, and operational procedures for cloud infrastructure.

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance platform performance and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Kubernetes, Networking, and Storage.

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments (Azure Active Directory, RBAC, NSGs, firewalls).

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation purposes.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Azure.

• Prior experience supporting global delivery teams or enterprise-scale cloud platforms is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

• Occasional flexibility required for critical deployments, troubleshooting, or coordination with global teams across time zones.
