Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure environments. You will collaborate closely with software engineering teams, architects, and IT operations to streamline CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud resource utilization, and implement best practices for infrastructure automation and monitoring. This is a strategic role for someone passionate about cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPCs.

• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, including cluster provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, security, and disaster recovery of cloud environments.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

• Define and enforce cloud governance policies, cost optimization strategies, and security best practices.

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services, including networking, storage, compute, and security.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed clusters) and container orchestration.

• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or CodePipeline.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.

• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and security concepts.

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

• Proven track record of managing large-scale cloud deployments and containerized environments.

• Experience in multi-cloud environments or hybrid cloud setups is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position; 40–45 hours per week.

• Flexibility to support on-call rotations or emergency deployments as required.

• Option for remote or hybrid work, depending on project requirements.
