Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Data Scientist specializing in IoT and Edge Computing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data science, machine learning, and distributed systems to develop advanced analytics and predictive models for connected devices. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and practical implementation skills to translate complex IoT data into actionable insights that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and analytics pipelines for IoT and edge devices.

• Analyze large-scale streaming and historical IoT data to identify patterns, anomalies, and predictive insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate AI solutions into IoT ecosystems.

• Optimize data collection, storage, and processing strategies for edge computing environments.

• Conduct research on emerging technologies in IoT, edge AI, and distributed computing to inform product development.

• Implement real-time analytics and decision-making systems at the edge.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and engineers.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience with IoT platforms, edge computing frameworks, and cloud services.

• Expertise in Python, R, or Scala, and experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• Proficiency in data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data tools (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).

• Hands-on experience with sensor data processing, signal processing, and time-series analysis.

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment on edge devices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in a fast-paced startup environment.

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or AI-focused roles.

• At least 3 years of experience working with IoT, edge computing, or embedded systems.

• Proven track record of implementing machine learning solutions in production environments.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.

• Advanced knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
