Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Scientist specializing in Knowledge Graphs and Semantic Modeling to join our innovative AI and data analytics team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain knowledge graph systems, extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, and contribute to the development of semantic AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, product teams, and domain experts to transform unstructured and structured data into actionable intelligence that powers next-generation applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain knowledge graphs and semantic data models to structure organizational data effectively.

• Extract, integrate, and link heterogeneous data sources using semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL).

• Develop algorithms for entity recognition, relation extraction, and graph reasoning to uncover hidden insights.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy knowledge-based AI solutions into production systems.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies for semantic modeling, ontology management, and graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog).

• Conduct exploratory data analysis and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

• Document best practices, maintain metadata standards, and ensure data quality and integrity across all knowledge graphs.

• Stay current with emerging trends in knowledge representation, semantic AI, and graph-based machine learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.

• Strong experience with knowledge graphs, semantic web technologies, and ontology engineering.

• Proficiency in graph query languages (SPARQL, Cypher) and graph databases (Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog, etc.).

• Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala; experience with data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).

• Experience with NLP, entity extraction, and information retrieval techniques.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, linked data principles, and semantic reasoning.

• Knowledge of machine learning and AI algorithms applied to graph-based data is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data science, knowledge graph development, or semantic modeling roles.

• Hands-on experience building production-ready knowledge graph solutions is highly preferred.

• Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced technology environment is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday

• Flexible working hours with remote work options available.

• Occasional collaboration with international teams may require flexible time overlap.
