Job Summary:

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and impact analysis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to measure, analyze, and optimize the companys ESG initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of technical data science expertise, sustainability knowledge, and business insight to guide strategic ESG decision-making.

As a Senior Data Scientist at Startup Inno, you will help shape the companys ESG strategy, deliver actionable insights, and provide transparent, accurate reporting aligned with international ESG standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ESG data analytics models to evaluate sustainability performance.

  • Collect, process, and analyze complex ESG datasets from multiple internal and external sources.

  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for ESG reporting aligned with standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, or CDP.

  • Conduct impact analysis to measure environmental, social, and governance outcomes of company initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sustainability, Finance, Operations, and Technology, to integrate ESG insights into business decision-making.

  • Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements for ESG disclosures.

  • Identify opportunities for improving data collection processes, automation, and analytical efficiency.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders with clear visualizations and reports.

  • Mentor junior analysts and data scientists on ESG analytics and best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning in ESG, sustainability, or impact analysis contexts.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly.

  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability metrics, and reporting standards.

  • Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.

  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, or impact measurement is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.


Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexible work arrangements or hybrid options may be available.

  • Occasional extended hours during reporting periods may be required.
