  • Design real-world evidence (RWE) studies using claims data, EHRs, registries, and observational datasets.

  • Translate complex analytical results into actionable business and clinical insights for senior stakeholders.

  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, ensuring best practices in analytics and research methodology.

  • Partner with product, clinical, and commercial teams to support health technology assessments (HTA) and payer submissions.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards related to healthcare data (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

  • Contribute to publications, white papers, and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Data Science, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SAS for statistical modeling and data analysis.

  • Experience with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR, EMR, and real-world data platforms.

  • Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques (regression models, survival analysis, causal inference).

  • Solid understanding of HEOR methodologies, cost-effectiveness analysis, and health outcomes modeling.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or biostatistics, with at least 3 years in HEOR or healthcare analytics.

  • Proven experience leading complex analytics projects in pharma, biotech, health tech, or consulting environments.

  • Track record of publishing or contributing to peer-reviewed research or industry reports is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with a hybrid or remote work model.

  • Occasional collaboration across global time zones may be required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare systems, reimbursement models, and payer dynamics.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work in fast-paced startup environments.

  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and integrity.

  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

  • Equity or stock options in a high-growth startup.

  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.

  • Flexible remote work policy and work-life balance initiatives.

  • Learning and development budget for certifications, courses, and conferences.
