Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist – Computer Vision for Autonomous Systems to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing intelligent perception systems that enable autonomous technologies such as self-driving vehicles, robotics, drones, and smart surveillance platforms.

You will work with large-scale visual data, designing and optimizing advanced computer vision and deep learning models that translate raw sensor inputs into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy computer vision models for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and classification.

  • Work with multi-modal data sources such as cameras, LiDAR, radar, and sensor fusion systems.

  • Build end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.

  • Conduct experiments to improve model accuracy, robustness, and real-time performance.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, robotics engineers, and product teams to integrate models into production systems.

  • Optimize models for edge devices and real-time inference.

  • Perform error analysis, model validation, and continuous improvement using performance metrics.

  • Document methodologies, research findings, and system designs.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.

  • Solid understanding of computer vision techniques (CNNs, YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD, Transformers, Vision Models).

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks and model optimization.

  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modeling.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML deployment tools.

  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and ML pipelines (MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.


Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision roles.

  • Hands-on experience working with real-world image/video datasets.

  • Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, automotive AI, or smart systems is a strong advantage.

  • Publications or research experience in computer vision is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

  • Flexible working hours with a hybrid or remote-friendly work model.

  • Occasional collaboration across global teams depending on project requirements.
