Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Data Scientist – Patient Level Data Analysis to join our growing data and research team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex clinical and patient-level datasets to generate actionable insights that support clinical research, regulatory submissions, and real-world evidence generation. You will collaborate closely with clinicians, biostatisticians, data engineers, and product teams to drive data-informed decisions that improve patient outcomes and accelerate healthcare innovation.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in clinical data, statistical modeling, and healthcare analytics, with a passion for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that impact patient care and business strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale patient-level clinical data from clinical trials, EHRs, registries, and real-world data sources.

  • Design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to support clinical research and outcomes analysis.

  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Develop predictive and descriptive analytics models for patient outcomes, risk stratification, and treatment effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, regulatory teams, and product managers.

  • Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Support regulatory submissions and publications with high-quality data analysis and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards (HIPAA, GDPR, GCP).

  • Contribute to the development of scalable data pipelines and analytical frameworks.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Data Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling.

  • Experience with SQL and working with large relational and non-relational databases.

  • Solid understanding of clinical trial data standards (CDISC, SDTM, ADaM).

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques such as regression analysis, survival analysis, and time-series modeling.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R libraries.

  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch is a plus).

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.


Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in clinical data analysis, healthcare analytics, or life sciences research.

  • Prior experience working with patient-level data from clinical trials or real-world evidence studies.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or healthcare technology environments is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data science projects in clinical or healthcare domains.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with core overlap for team collaboration.

  • Remote or hybrid work options depending on location and project requirements.
