Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a meticulous and proactive Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a hybrid working model. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with experience in accounting software like Tally or Xero. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in generating reports that help the management make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records using Tally or Xero.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Handle invoicing, expense claims, and vendor communications.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and reporting support.

  • Assist in audit preparation and respond to queries from auditors as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma, Bachelors degree, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Proficiency in Tally and/or Xero accounting software.

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate or MNC environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Tally or Xero, and familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliations.


Working Hours

  • Part-time role with flexible working hours, approximately 20–25 hours per week.

  • Hybrid model: combination of on-site presence at our office and remote work, based on team requirements.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards and practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.

  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of meeting deadlines.
