Global MNC Tech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Library Assistant to support the daily operations of our corporate learning and knowledge center. This role is ideal for students and individuals looking for flexible working hours while gaining valuable experience in information management, customer service, and administrative operations.
As a Library Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining an organized, accessible, and user-friendly library environment, supporting both digital and physical resources used by employees, interns, and trainees across the organization.
Assist in the daily operation of the library, including opening and closing procedures.
Organize, classify, and shelve books, journals, digital resources, and training materials.
Support users in locating information and using library systems and databases.
Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned materials.
Manage basic cataloging and indexing of new resources.
Ensure the library environment is clean, quiet, and conducive to learning.
Assist in inventory management and periodic audits of resources.
Handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and report preparation.
Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees and students.
High school diploma or currently pursuing a diploma/degree (preferred for students).
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools).
Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Customer-focused mindset with a helpful attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
