Global MNC Tech is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandise Stock Assistant to join our retail and supply chain operations team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring product availability. The Merchandise Stock Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily stock operations, receiving and organizing merchandise, and ensuring shelves and storage areas are well-maintained and compliant with company standards. This is an early morning shift role, perfect for candidates who prefer starting their day early and contributing to smooth business operations from the ground up.
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise shipments.
Verify stock against invoices and delivery notes for accuracy.
Organize and store products in designated locations following inventory procedures.
Replenish shelves and displays to ensure products are readily available.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of stockrooms and storage areas.
Perform regular stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
Report damaged, expired, or missing items to supervisors.
Use inventory management systems to update stock records.
Follow health, safety, and security policies at all times.
Support the retail and operations team during peak periods.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Basic understanding of inventory or stock management processes.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move goods.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Good communication and time management skills.
0–2 years of experience in stock handling, warehouse, retail, or logistics is preferred.
Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
Prior experience in retail, supermarkets, or distribution centers will be an advantage.
Shift: Early Morning Shift (typically between 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM, may vary).
Schedule: Full-time / Part-time options depending on business needs.
Rotational shifts and weekend availability may be required.
Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and stock procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
Good numerical skills for counting and record-keeping.
Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
Awareness of workplace safety and hygiene standards.
Physically fit to handle manual tasks such as lifting and stacking.
