Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking passionate and qualified Part-Time Online Tutors for Maths and Science (Leaving Certificate level) to support students in achieving academic excellence. This role is ideal for educators, subject matter experts, and postgraduate students who enjoy teaching in a flexible, digital environment. You will deliver high-quality online instruction, provide personalized academic support, and help learners strengthen their conceptual understanding and exam readiness.

As an Online Tutor, you will play a key role in shaping students academic journeys by making complex concepts simple, engaging, and practical through interactive virtual sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring sessions in Maths and/or Science aligned with the Leaving Certificate curriculum.

• Create customized lesson plans based on individual student learning needs and academic goals.

• Explain complex concepts in a clear, structured, and student-friendly manner.

• Assist students with homework, assignments, test preparation, and exam strategies.

• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and performance reports.

• Use digital tools such as virtual whiteboards, video conferencing platforms, and learning management systems.

• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills.

• Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and student performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong command of Leaving Certificate Maths and Science syllabus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to teach concepts in a simple, engaging, and interactive way.

• Proficiency with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, etc.).

• Strong interpersonal skills with a student-focused mindset.

• Good time management and organizational abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or tutoring experience (online or offline preferred).

• Experience with secondary school students or exam preparation is highly desirable.

• Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and teaching aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Part-time and flexible working hours.

• Typically 5–20 hours per week, depending on availability and student demand.

• Evening and weekend availability is preferred to accommodate students.

• Fully remote (work from home).
