The Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship is a 24-month learning and development program designed for individuals looking to start a career in Data Analytics. Apprentices will work full-time (~40 hours per week) in a hybrid model, combining hands-on experience with Google teams and structured external training.

Participants will spend approximately 20% of their time in formal learning and 80% working on real-world projects, gaining practical exposure to data analytics, business problem-solving, and professional development.

Important Eligibility & Program Notes

• This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

• Applicants must not have participated in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs

• Applicants must have:

  • Aadhaar number linked to an active mobile number

  • A personal email ID (mandatory for registration and verification)

• Apprentices must complete the entire program duration to receive a certificate of completion

• Apprentices may apply for full-time employee (FTE) roles at Google only during the final three months of the apprenticeship

• The selection process may take 18–20 weeks; candidates are requested to be patient

Work Model & Location

• Work Type: Hybrid (regular in-person work required)

• Relocation during the apprenticeship is not supported

  • Mumbai, Maharashtra

• Selected apprentices will be matched to a team and office location

• Relocation assistance is provided if the assigned office is more than 100 km from the current location

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience

• Less than 1 year of professional experience in data analytics post-graduation

• Experience using Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Chrome, etc.) or similar applications

• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to learn from training documentation, presentations, and structured programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SQL programming

• Knowledge of data analysis concepts or strong interest in working with data, numbers, and patterns

• Ability to work through ambiguity and seek guidance when needed

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams

• Conduct custom data analysis to uncover insights for Google customers

• Use data to quantify the business impact of Google media recommendations

• Develop documentation and knowledge-sharing materials

• Apply analytical tools and techniques to distill complex data into actionable insights

• Support decision-making across various Google business groups through data-driven recommendations

• Develop hands-on skills using spreadsheets and programming languages to organize and analyze data
