Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately review, evaluate, and process incoming insurance claims using company online systems.

  • Verify policy coverage, claim documentation, and eligibility criteria in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and internal teams to gather missing information or clarify details.

  • Identify potential fraud, discrepancies, or anomalies in claims and escalate when necessary.

  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of claims processed, ensuring proper documentation for audits.

  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets while adhering to company timelines.

  • Continuously suggest improvements to streamline claims processing and enhance customer experience.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, insurance regulations, and policy changes that may affect claims management.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in using online systems, claims management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.

  • Understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and regulatory requirements is a plus.


Experience

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in insurance claims processing, customer service, or a related administrative role.

  • Experience working in remote or virtual teams is highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • This is a full-time remote position.

  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility in scheduling based on workload and team needs.

  • Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
