Startup Inno is seeking highly skilled Online Transcriptionists with a focus on medical and legal documentation. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with exceptional listening, typing, and comprehension skills. As a key member of our remote team, you will be responsible for accurately converting audio and video recordings into precise written documents while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with industry standards. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while engaging with diverse, challenging, and rewarding transcription projects.
Listen to and transcribe audio and video recordings in medical and legal fields with high accuracy.
Proofread and edit transcriptions to ensure error-free final documents.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other relevant data privacy regulations.
Manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines effectively.
Format documents according to client specifications and company standards.
Communicate promptly with project managers regarding project status, clarifications, or potential delays.
Continuously update knowledge of medical and legal terminology and transcription best practices.
Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Strong typing skills (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy.
Familiarity with medical and legal terminology and transcription protocols.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in transcription software, word processing tools, and online collaboration platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow strict confidentiality and compliance guidelines.
Previous experience as a transcriptionist in medical or legal fields preferred.
Experience with remote work or freelance transcription projects is a plus.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or legal case management software is advantageous.
Flexible, fully remote schedule.
Projects may require adherence to specific deadlines; availability during business hours is preferred.
