Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated Online Transcriptionists to join our growing remote workforce for Medical & Legal transcription services. This role is ideal for professionals who possess excellent listening and typing skills, strong command of the English language, and a keen eye for accuracy. As an Online Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio recordings from healthcare and legal professionals into clear, precise, and well-structured written documents while maintaining strict confidentiality and quality standards.

This is a night shift, work-from-home opportunity designed for individuals who are comfortable working independently, meeting deadlines, and handling sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical and legal audio files into written reports, letters, and records.

• Ensure all transcriptions are grammatically correct, properly formatted, and free from errors.

• Edit and proofread completed documents for clarity, consistency, and compliance with guidelines.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and company data in accordance with HIPAA and legal standards.

• Meet productivity targets and turnaround times for assigned transcription tasks.

• Follow company style guides, templates, and quality assurance procedures.

• Communicate with quality reviewers or team leads to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy.

• Use transcription software, foot pedals, and document management systems efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Strong typing skills (minimum 60–70 WPM with high accuracy).

• Good listening skills and ability to understand different accents and terminologies.

• Proficiency in MS Word or similar word processing tools.

• Familiarity with transcription tools and audio playback software.

• High level of attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical or legal transcription preferred.

• Freshers with relevant certification or strong training in transcription may also be considered.

• Prior experience in remote or online transcription roles is an added advantage.

• Experience working with healthcare providers, law firms, or transcription service companies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Night Shift (aligned with international clients time zones).

• Typical schedule: 8–9 hours per shift, 5–6 days a week.

• Flexible working hours may be available depending on workload and performance.
