Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Online Math & Science Tutor to join our growing remote education team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online lessons to students following the IEB (Independent Examinations Board) and NSC (National Senior Certificate) curricula. You will play a critical role in supporting learners to build strong conceptual understanding, improve academic performance, and achieve their educational goals in Mathematics and Science subjects.

This is a fully remote position, ideal for educators who are enthusiastic about digital learning and committed to delivering high-quality education through innovative online teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive online tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Science (Grades 7–12, IEB/NSC).

• Prepare lesson plans aligned with IEB and NSC curriculum requirements.

• Explain complex concepts in a clear, simple, and engaging manner.

• Assess students learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

• Provide homework support, exam preparation, and revision sessions.

• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

• Use online tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, digital resources) effectively.

• Maintain professional communication and a supportive virtual learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).

• Familiarity with IEB and NSC curriculum standards.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, etc.).

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• High level of professionalism and commitment to student success.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–3 years teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with high school learners.

• Prior experience teaching IEB or NSC curriculum is highly desirable.

• Experience in online or virtual teaching environments will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours based on student schedules.

• Typically 10–30 hours per week, with availability during afternoons, evenings, or weekends.

• Fully remote (work from home).
