Job Summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join the team at Kusile Power Station as Site Support General Workers. In this role, you will provide essential support services to ensure the smooth operation of site activities, maintenance, and general site management. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized work environment that supports Eskoms mission to deliver sustainable and reliable electricity across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor and site support tasks, including cleaning, moving materials, and assisting technical teams as required.

• Ensure site cleanliness and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.

• Assist in the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, equipment, and work areas.

• Transport materials and tools to designated work areas efficiently and safely.

• Monitor and report hazards, unsafe practices, and site incidents to supervisors.

• Support site operations in accordance with Eskoms procedures, policies, and quality standards.

• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required to support site activities and team objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.

• Awareness of health and safety standards on industrial or construction sites.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively in a team.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to quality and safety.

Experience

• Previous experience in general labor, site support, or industrial environments is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with power station operations or construction sites will be advantageous.
