Amazon is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Secretary to support operations within a Public Health Agency–aligned program. This role is critical in ensuring smooth administrative functioning, effective coordination, and accurate documentation in support of public health initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of contact, providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while supporting leadership and cross-functional teams.
Provide end-to-end administrative and secretarial support to senior officials and departmental teams.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings.
Handle correspondence, including emails, reports, memos, and official documentation, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and physical) in compliance with record-keeping and data protection standards.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and briefing materials related to public health programs and initiatives.
Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, healthcare partners, and government agencies as required.
Track action items, follow up on deadlines, and support workflow efficiency.
Support procurement, travel arrangements, and expense documentation in line with company policies.
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive public health and organizational information.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
Proven administrative or secretarial experience in a corporate, government, healthcare, or public sector environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems.
High level of organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or secretarial role.
Prior experience supporting senior management or working within public health, healthcare, or government-related projects is highly desirable.
Experience in a large, fast-paced organization or multinational company is an advantage.

Standard business hours, Monday to Friday

Strong understanding of administrative procedures and office management best practices.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Knowledge of public health terminology, documentation, or compliance processes is a plus.
