Job Summary

Home Depot is seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our Distribution Center team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products move efficiently from our suppliers to our retail locations. Warehouse Associates are responsible for handling inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory in designated locations.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment to stores or customers.

  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records.

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery and tools safely.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.

  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly).

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


Experience

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment is preferred but not required.

  • Experience with shipping, receiving, or inventory management is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time and part-time positions available.

  • Shifts may include day, evening, night, or weekend hours.

  • Overtime may be required during peak periods.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to company standards.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
