As a Fulfillment Associate (Order Picker) at Home Depot, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless customer experience by accurately selecting, preparing, and processing customer orders. You will be part of a dynamic warehouse team, maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and quality. This role is essential in supporting Home Depots mission to deliver the right products, at the right time, to our valued customers.
Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment or pickup.
Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
Prepare products for delivery or store transfer, ensuring packaging meets quality standards.
Assist in receiving, sorting, and stocking merchandise efficiently.
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and order tracking.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with inventory management systems or order fulfillment software is a plus.
Full-time position with flexible shifts available, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Overtime may be required during peak seasons to meet customer demand.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving skills to address order discrepancies or inventory issues.
